Kiki Petratou is an artist living and working in Rotterdam/NL. Kiki Petratou graduated from the Athens School of Fine Arts, and obtained her Master Degree at the Piet Zwart Institute in the Netherlands and at Plymouth University at the UK. She is currently researching on Media Studies at the University of Amsterdam. Her work has been presented in a number of museums and galleries including the Nederlands Fotomuseum, TENT, RAM Foundation, Lokaal 01 and Centraal Museum Utrecht.

Her photographic work “PERSONAE” won awards at international festivals such as “Rencontres International de la Photographie”, Arles, FR, 2006 and  “International Panorama of Film & Video”, Patras, GR, 2006.

Commissioned work includes: 2 video-clips made for the CD/DVD “Schuil” of the Dutch band ZIMIHC (NL, 2006) / the documentary footage incorporated in the performance “Curlew River” by Muziek Theater Hollands Diep” (NL, 2006) / and the short film on the concepts of Realism – Modernism – Postmodernism, made for the Department of Literature in the University of Leiden (NL, 2004).
